The Nominees for the German Jazz Prize 2025 Have Been Selected 

After reviewing and assessing some 1193 submissions, the international expert and special jury have now determined this year’s nominations. The 76 nominees have excelled in various aspects of jazz over the past year, showcasing outstanding artistry, innovation, and impact. Their achievements span music production, live performance, composition, festivals, journalism, and more. A new addition this year is the category “Music Mediation”, which highlights socially relevant projects and will be replacing the “Special Prize of the Jury”.
