The Main Jury of the German Jazz Prize 2023

In February, the expert jury of the German Jazz Prize nominated 81 musicians and projects in 31 award categories. The newly formed main jury will now decide who will be awarded the German Jazz Prize. This year, the 16-member main jury of the German Jazz Prize will once again include members of the expert jury, as well as prominent figures within jazz and well-known cultural figures with diverse professional expertise. The composition of the main jury is intended to reflect the diversity of the national and international jazz scenes.
