The nominees have been selected!

The twenty-five-member expert jury reviewed more than 1,000 entries and now we can finally reveal the nominees for the German Jazz Prize 2023. In the category “Venue of the Year”, members of the German Jazz Union have chosen the three nominees.

81 musicians and projects in thirty-one categories, who have made extraordinary artistic achievements and innovative
contributions this past year in national and international contexts, are up for one of the coveted trophys.
