The Expert Jury of the German Jazz Prize 2023

Once again, the expert jury for the German Jazz Prize consists of 25 representatives from the jazz scene. Among them are some new and international faces: Jana Herzen, president and herself a musician of the US label Motéma Music, Rio Sakairi, artistic director of the renowned New York Jazz Gallery, the two European festival makers Luciano Linzi (Casa del Jazz in Rome and Jazzmi Festival in Milan) and Matti Nives, founder and artistic director of the Finnish We Jazz Festival, as well as Darrel Sheinman, owner and producer of Gearbox Records in London.
