Application Start for the German Jazz Prize 2026

Today, on October 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. (CET), the online portal for applications for the German Jazz Prize 2026 opens. Until November 30, 2025, applicants can submit entries digitally in eleven categories. Eligible applicants include artists, ensembles, labels, managements, promoters, journalists, festivals, broadcasters, and music mediators from Germany and abroad. The award honors outstanding and innovative achievements realized between December 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025.
