Application phase starts

The application phase for the German Jazz Prize 2024 starts today. In six national and two international categories artists, producers, managers, promoters, employees of labels, publishers, and broadcasting institutions, as well as journalists and festival organizers have the opportunity to apply for the prestigious German Jazz Prize.

Achievements that were made or will be made in the period from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023 will be considered. The 22 prize winners in each category can look forward to prize money of at least €10,000 and a trophy. Nominees who do not win an award will still receive consolation prize money of at least €1,000.
