2024 erschien ihr 4. Album zusammen mit dem in Paris lebenden Cellisten Karsten Hochapfel, La Plume Du Dimanche (Wopela), sowie ihre Single Konferenzverschaltung für Synthesizer & Streicher (Traumton). 2023 und 2024 veröffentlichte sie sechs weitere Alben in Kollaborationen, teilweise mit Stimme. In 2024 she released her 4th album La Plume Du Dimanche (Wopela) in collaboration with Paris-based cellist Karsten Hochapfel, as well as her single Konferenzverschaltung for synthesizer & strings (Traumton). In 2023 and 2024, she released 6 more albums, on some of which she also used her voice. The magazine Concerto wrote about her: “Gustav Mahler might have composed such songs if a time machine had catapulted him into the early 21st century: mysteriously radiant, touching and full of unheard-of sounds…”. Residencies & scholarships have taken her to New York, Paris, Glasgow and Tallahassee. She received the Elsa Neumann Scholarship for her modern and improvising string quartet. For six years, she was supported by the Yehudi Menuhin Association. She grew up in Italy and lived in Spain and France for a time.

Johan Leijonhufvud ist ein renommierter schwedischer Jazzgitarrist, der in Berlin, Deutschland, lebt. Er wurde 1971 in der Region Göteborg, Schweden, geboren und wuchs in Växjö auf. Mit neun Jahren begann er Klavier zu spielen, mit elf Jahren entdeckte er die Gitarre für sich.
1988 zog Johan nach Skåne, einer Stadt in Südschweden, um an der Skurups Folkhögskola zu studieren. Nach zwei Jahren an dieser Schule zog er nach Malmö und gründete dort 1991 sein erstes Trio. Neun Jahre später ließ er sich in Berlin nieder.

Johan Leijonhufvud is a renowned Swedish jazz guitarist living in Berlin, Germany. He was born in 1971 in the county of Gothenburg, Sweden, and grew up in Växjö, Sweden. He began to play piano at the age of nine and guitar at the age of eleven. In 1988 Johan moved to Skåne, a city in southern Sweden to study at Skurups Folkhögskola. After two years at this school, he moved to Malmö and started his first trio in 1991. Nine years later Johan moved to the city of Berlin, Germany. Over the years Johan has released seven successful albums:

Matthias Pichler, ist freischaffender Kontrabassist und lebt mit seiner Familie in Berlin. Musikalisch bewegt er sich zwischen Jazz, improvisierter Musik und gelegentlich Songwriting, insbesondere im Duo mit seinem Zwillingsbruder Andreas. Als Sideman und Co-Leader ist er weltweit unterwegs.
Seine musikalische Ausbildung umfasst klassisches Kontrabass-Studium in Innsbruck sowie Jazz-Bass in Linz. 2004 erhielt er im Rahmen des Hans-Koller-Preises ein New-York-Stipendium. Zwei Jahre später wurde er als „Sideman of the Year“ ausgezeichnet, und 2010 gewann er den 1. Preis beim Internationalen Kontrabass-Kongress „BASS2010“ in Berlin.
Von 2017 bis 2020 lebte er mit seiner Familie in New York City, bevor er nach Berlin zurückkehrte. Zuletzt präsentierte er ein Solo-Programm für Kontrabass, das 2024 beim Klangspuren Festival in Tirol uraufgeführt wurde. Seit Kurzem ist er am Tiroler Landeskonservatorium tätig, und unterrichtet Jazzbass, Improvisation und Ensemble.

Matthias Pichler is a freelance double bassist living with his family in Berlin. Musically, he moves between jazz, improvised music, and occasionally songwriting, particularly in a duo with his twin brother Andreas. As a sideman and co-leader, he performs worldwide.
His musical education includes classical double bass studies in Innsbruck and jazz bass studies in Linz. In 2004, he received a New York scholarship as part of the Hans Koller Prize. Two years later, he was named „Sideman of the Year,“ and in 2010, he won first prize at the International Double Bass Congress BASS2010 in Berlin.
From 2017 to 2020, he lived with his family in New York City before returning to Berlin. Most recently, he presented a solo program for double bass, which premiered in 2024 at the Klangspuren Festival in Tyrol. He has recently joined the faculty at the Tyrolean State Conservatory, where he teaches jazz bass, improvisation, and ensemble.

Nick Dunston ist Improvisationskünstler, Komponist und Klangkünstler. Seit 2019 hat er neun Alben unter seinem eigenen Namen veröffentlicht und auf Dutzenden weiteren mitgewirkt, unter anderem mit Mary Halvorson, Tyshawn Sorey, Lucrecia Dalt, Ches Smith und Anna Webber. Über seine Diskografie schrieb das Pitchfork Magazine: „Dunstons Neugier eröffnet eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten. Kein Song von ihm klingt wie der andere.“
Er wurde 2023 und 2024 für den Deutschen Jazzpreis nominiert und gewann gemeinsam mit Cansu Tanrikulu den SWR Jazzpreis 2024.

Nick Dunston is an improviser, composer, and sound artist. Called an “indispensable player on the New York avant-garde“ by the New York Times, he has since also established a commanding presence in Berlin’s experimental music scenes. While deeply rooted in Black American music, his work manifests in a plethora of contexts, such as his improvising bands, compositional work with contemporary music ensembles, interdisciplinary/multi-media collaborations, and sound installations. Since 2019 he has released nine albums under his name and has played on dozens of others (for example with Mary Halvorson, Tyshawn Sorey, Lucrecia Dalt, Ches Smith, and Anna Webber). On his discography, Pitchfork Magazine noted “…Dunston’s curiosity creates a plethora of possibilities. No two songs of his ever sound alike.” He was nominated for the Deutscher Jazzpreis (German Jazz Prize) in 2023 and 2024, and alongside Cansu Tanrikulu, won the SWR Jazz Prize of 2024.
